Privacy Policy

Forssa is a strength training app that respects your privacy. We don't display ads and we don't sell your data. Your workout data is stored locally on your device by default and only synced if you choose to create an account.

Forssa offers optional sign-in via Google or Apple Sign-In. You can also use the app as a guest without creating an account. When you sign in, we only collect what's necessary for authentication: your name, email, and account identifier.

Account creation is entirely optional. All app features work without an account.

If you sign in, your workout data can be synced to the cloud via Firebase (Google Cloud). This allows you to access your data across multiple devices. Synced data includes: workout programs, exercise history, settings, and profile.

Sync is optional. Without signing in, all data remains exclusively on your device.

With account: Name, email, synced workout data (programs, exercises, history, settings).

Without account: No personal data is collected. Everything stays local.

Diagnostics: We use Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous crash reports to help improve app stability. No personal information is included in these reports.

Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics): We collect anonymous in-app usage events — such as workouts started and completed, personal records, screen views, and onboarding events — to understand how Forssa is used and prioritize improvements. Alongside these events, we send your account identifier, display name, email, training experience, equipment preference, and unit system as user properties. We do not collect any browsing data outside Forssa, app history, or any behavioral data beyond usage of the app itself.

If you subscribe to Forssa Pro, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Forssa does not store credit card numbers or financial data directly.

We use RevenueCat as our subscription management platform. RevenueCat receives and processes: anonymous user identifier, subscription status, purchase history, platform (iOS/Android), and country. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or workout data.

Data shared with third parties for payment processing:

• Apple / Google: Billing information per your Apple ID or Google Play account

• RevenueCat: Anonymous identifier, subscription status, purchase receipts, platform, and country

• We don't use cross-app or cross-site tracking

• We don't collect location data

• We don't access your camera, microphone, or contacts

Local data is stored using the app's internal database (SQLite) on your device. Synced data is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud), protected by security rules that ensure only you can access your data.

Local data: Uninstall the app or clear app data in your device settings.

Cloud data:Use the "Delete Account" option in the app settings to remove all synced data.

You can also request data deletion by emailing support@forssa.app.

You have the right to receive a copy of all data Forssa holds about you in a machine-readable format (JSON), in compliance with GDPR Article 20 and LGPD Article 18.

To request an export, email support@forssa.app with the subject "Data Export Request" and include the email address of your Forssa account. We will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR Article 12.

The export includes: user profile, workout programs, full workout history with exercises and sets, personal records, custom exercises, questionnaire answers, and achievements.

By default, Forssa uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous in-app usage events as described in the "Data We Collect" section. This helps us understand how the app is used and prioritize improvements.

If you wish to opt out of usage analytics collection for your account, email support@forssa.app with the subject "Analytics Opt-Out" and include the email address of your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

In compliance with LGPD, GDPR, and CCPA, you have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, and port it. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@forssa.app.
